Understanding Insulation

One response

  1. The Government recommends that homes in the west of the UK or homes that are in exposed situations should not have cavity wall insulation, as wind blown rain can percolate though the outer wall, make the insulation wet and make the inner wall wet.
Water is 4,000 times better at transferring heat than dry air, a wet wall will pass your heat to the outside and greatly increase your heating bills.
